T2 Utility Engineers (T2ue) completed a Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) investigation in accordance with CI/ASCE 38-02, for the City of Winnipeg at the North End Water Pollution Control Centre (NEWPCC), located at 2230 Main Street, Winnipeg. The initial phase of the investigation commenced in December 2013.  T2ue complete the first phase of the investigation – the collection of data using geophysical equipment between January 2014 and May 2014.  Following completion of the designating phase, a contract was completed to hire a vacuum excavation sub-consultant to complete the test holes associated with the Quality Level A QL-A investigation.  T2ue provided inspection and coordination of the test hole phase which was completed on July 10, 2014.

The investigation was successful in determining the underground utilities within the project area. Alignment of the utilities, as shown on the Composite Base Plan and associated drawings has been determined using a combination of record information, field verification and professional judgment. This drawing will be a valuable reference drawing going forward for the City and will supplement any of the original record drawings that are currently available and reviewed as part of this investigation.
