There is a lot to know about Subsurface Utility Engineering, surveying and utility investigation. We are very engaged in organizations that promote and develop the Utility Engineering and Surveying industry. Our professionals speak at events across Canada and the US and are in leadership roles in many organizations. We are proud to develop standards and manuals of practice that set the bar for expectations for SUE, survey, and geophysical investigations. We share our expertise and insights through in-person meetings, conference presentations, events, and webinars. Please join an upcoming event or listen to a recorded webinar. Utility Coordination for P3 Projects

June 30, 2020 at 12:00 – 1:00 EDT, presented by Lawrence Arcand, P.Eng., PE

Utility Coordination is a vital part of any major infrastructure project. Doing it well can mean that you hardly notice utilities. Doing it poorly can mean that Utilities become a major factor contributing to Cost and Schedule Overruns. This is particularly true with PPP projects, particularly in urban areas. This presentation will outline the new TAC Guideline for the Coordination of Utility Relocations on PPP projects. Lawrence Arcand, who is the Chair of the TAC committee that created the guideline will be our presenter. He will provide both an overview of the document, as well as some practical examples from his years of providing UC services on a variety of PPP highway and transit projects. A PDH certificate is available. Register now.
