Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is a powerful prospecting tool that can be used to map utilities, underground tanks, voids and a variety of other objects that cannot be found using traditional designating methods. We have the expertise and equipment to make Ground Penetrating Radar a highly effective tool.
T2 Utility Engineers uses the most advanced laser scanning equipment available to help in many aspects of Utility Engineering, particularly focusing on scanning of underground chambers and large pipes. LIDAR is the fastest, most efficient and accurate method of collecting data. Data collected with LIDAR, once processed, can be tied into surveys with great accuracy and can be incorporated directly in 3D CAD software.
T2 Utility Engineers has invested in Multi-Channel GPR technology. MCGPR technology is a multi-sensor GPR array that allows for the collection of a large quantity of GPR data both simultaneously parallel and perpendicular to the direction of data collection.
T2 Utility Engineers field crews have the experience you need to efficiently collect your utility asset inventory data. Our training allows our crews to access confined spaces and gather pipe sizes, invert measurements and all other asset inventory requirements. Information can then be processed as a CAD or GIS format.
