Rehabilitation of California - Orange County Regional Sewers

This 16 mile long project will rehabilitate and/or reconstruct the sewer system lines located in the western-most portion of the Orange County Sanitation District’s (OC SAN) service area, including the Cities of Anaheim, Cypress, Los Alamitos, Seal Beach, and La Palma.

This includes approximately 16 miles and 217 manholes across the Orange Western Sub-trunk, Los Alamitos Sub-trunk, the Westside Relief Interceptor, and the Seal Beach Boulevard Interceptor. The goal is to extend the service life of these sewer systems by 50 years. The sewer lines will be replaced or lined and the manholes will be rehabilitated or replaced, depending on condition and capacity requirements.

To support a more efficient design of the sewer rehabilitation, T2ue is providing Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) for this project, in accordance with CI/ASCE 38-02. Included in the utility investigation is utility designating for approximately 30,000 linear feet of roadway and up to 1000 test holes.
