Join us for this spotlight, 30 minute overview, which discusses what an ALTA survey is, why an ALTA might be needed, who typically orders an ALTA survey, and how an ALTA should be ordered.
In order to meet the needs of clients, insurers, insureds and lenders, the public is entitled to rely upon surveyors to conduct surveys and prepare associated plats or maps that are of professional quality, appropriately uniform, complete and accurate. The American Land Title Associations (ALTA) in conjunction with the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS) developed standards to provide title insurance without exception. This type of survey is intended to prevent future possible title issues. Join this session to learn when an ALTA survey is of value. There will be time for Question and Answer.
