T2 Utility Engineers is performing the horizontal control, alignment and right-of-way surveying and mapping. In addition, T2 Utility Engineers is performing Subsurface Utility Engineering ASCE Quality Level "B" designating of subsurface utilities at all road crossings for this project.
Our team will be surveying more than 17 miles of the former railroad right-of- way to re-establish the alignment and produce right-of-way maps to support Florida DOT acquisition of land in the corridor. More than 23 sections of land surveyed under the General Land Office (GLO) Early Records, dating around 1824, must be researched and integrated to create a current right-of-way mapping document. T2 Utility Engineers decades of surveying and mapping expertise streamlines this process for our client, providing them with reliable information for future development of the trail corridor into a public hiking and biking trail.
