Enbridge Highway 7 Gasmain

T2 Utility Engineers completed a Subsurface Utility Engineering Investigation (SUE) for Enbridge along the west side of Highway 7 from Lansdowne Street West to 100m north of Parkhill Road West in Peterborough. The total distance covered by the investigation was approximately 3200m.

Based on our findings, the locations of the Bell utilities were drastically different from what Bell records showed, causing Enbridge to re-evaluate their design alignment and switch the 6” gasmain to be installed to the opposite side of the road. Enbridge was very happy that this was identified during the design stage, therefore avoiding delays during construction.
